The “Before”

Because I can’t wait to share this any longer…

Here is an introduction to the boat. I still don’t know if it is officially mine but the shipyard owner lets me hang out on it. I apologize for coming across so naively, I’m still learning!

  1. That’s a nice size boat. Big head and a large fridge in the galley. I am a newbie liveaboard. About a week and a half and love it. What are the boat specs and kind?

    • Thanks, I don’t have the paperwork for the boat yet so all that I know is that it is a 1979 Chris Craft and it’s 33′. What kind of boat are you living on? I’d love to hear more about your experience so far, I’m dying to get this process started so maybe I can live vicariously through you for now.

      • You can absolutely live vicariously through me lol. I’m on a sailboat. It’s a 1972 Pearson 36 and I love it. I have some posts describing the buying, survey and renovation experiences and plan to post more. If you google liveaboard, there a some great blogs that people have detailing years of living on a boat and traveling. I have renovated most of my boat and am l;earning a lot including electrical, HVAC and plumbing work. My next major project is redoing the head. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me and ask away.

      • I’m sure I will have tons of questions as I proceed. I’m pretty sure I’ve read almost everything on the internet about liveaboards 🙂 I’ve also watched every youtube video, now I’m just searching for real people who are doing it. I’m glad I found you!
